Upcoming Feature Renames in modcore Extension Manager (v2.3.9)

Hello everyone,

before we release modcore Extension Manager v2.3.9, we’d like to inform you in advance about a set of feature name changes that will be introduced in this version.

These changes are part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the modcore brand, improve consistency across the application, and make individual features easier to recognize and understand at a glance.

Feature Renames Overview

The following names will be updated:

1. Cloud Sync → modcore Cloud
   A clearer, brand-focused name for all cloud-related functionality.

2. Extension Conflict Scanner → modcore Inspect
   A shorter, more modern name that reflects intelligent analysis rather than simple scanning.

3. Extension Activity Log → modcore Timeline
   Emphasizes chronological visibility into extension activity in a clean, user-friendly way.

4. Automation Rules → modcore Automations
   A more flexible and scalable name that better represents automated behaviors and future expansion.

5. Backup & Restore → modcore Snapshot
   Highlights the idea of capturing and restoring extension states quickly and reliably.

All of these changes will be included starting with the v2.3.9 release of modcore Extension Manager.

• Documentation, guides, and other content outside of the modcore Extension Manager software may take a bit longer to fully reflect these new names.
• During the transition, you may still see some of the previous terminology in external references.
