Lumen Code 1.0.1
Built from c724bb7, the head of release/v1.0.1.
Lumen Code 1.0.1
A UI and documentation update. The Protocol 1.0 wire format is unchanged and remains compatible with version 1.0.0.
- A compact, centred desktop home screen with consistent send and receive entry panels.
- Fixed-size file/text panels and aligned actions across the website, Android and iPhone apps.
- Keyboard completion controls for text input; simpler receiving without the image-import entry.
- A calmer website transfer illustration, matching app messaging and clearer real-device speed results.
- Shorter privacy and service terms explaining local processing, transfer risks and responsibility boundaries.
- Both app languages remain available offline in Android App Bundles.

The Windows build is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns on first launch: choose "More info" > "Run anyway". The webcam receiver is tested on macOS. The Windows (Media Foundation) and Linux (Video4Linux) camera code is new and has not been tested on real machines; reports are welcome.
Phones: the iPhone and Android apps are coming to the App Store and Google Play; the web version at https://lumencode.link works in any browser with a camera, and every version sends to every other.
Checksums: SHA256SUMS (Windows, Linux) and SHA256SUMS-macos (macOS images, attached by hand after signing).

Lumen Code 1.0.0
Built from fadca55, the head of release/v1.0.0.
Lumen Code 1.0.0
The first stable release. Protocol 1.0 is final and frozen: every 1.0 receiver reads every 1.0 sender.
- Simpler send and receive screens: a permanent control bar that never covers the code; on the receive screen, progress, speed and one hint, with the details folded away.
- A photosensitivity confirmation before the first code plays.
- A calmer result screen: the file, Save and Open, and the transfer details on request.
- The app identifier is now
ltd.mondaylabs.lumencode. macOS treats this version as a new app: allow the camera again on first use.

Lumen Code 0.1.2
What's new in 0.1.2
This version speaks Lumen Code protocol 1.0, now final and frozen. Nothing changed on the wire: 0.1.2 works with 0.1.0, 0.1.1 and the web pages in both directions.
- A transfer can no longer get stuck. If a received file fails its check (a damaged packet slipped through, or two transfers had the same ID), the receiver drops what it collected and starts again by itself. Before, it kept showing "checksum mismatch" forever.
- Glare on one corner no longer stops a transfer. The file's descriptor now moves around the frame instead of always sitting in the top-left corner.
- Safer receiving. Files larger than 256 MB are refused with a message, compressed data cannot expand beyond the announced size, and received file names are cleaned before they are shown or saved.
- Photosensitivity warning. The send screen says that the code flashes up to 60 times a second.
Specification: docs/PROTOCOL.md (中文).
