Mongo MCP Server Metrics Analysis

I wanted to check if the MCP server analyzes MongoDB Atlas metrics in detail. Specifically, can it provide insights on:

• Slow-running queries
• Memory usage analysis
• Ticket-based analysis
• Read/write operations metrics
• MongoDB request and response times

Any metrics related to deployment “flip” events

Basically, I’m trying to confirm whether the MCP server can give a full performance and root-cause analysis of Atlas MongoDB clusters.

thanks for raising your question.

Not all of the metrics you are asking are available in the MCP Server. We are working on making the integration of the MCP Server with Atlas more tight but right now integration with all metrics exposed by Atlas is not in our short-term roadmap.

What we will release in the short-term (it's already merged in main and pending release) is support for querying the Atlas Performance Advisor, which should be an initial step for better debugging of workloads in Atlas.
