The MongoDB Go Driver Team is pleased to release version 2.10.0 of the official MongoDB Go Driver.
Release Highlights
This release fixes a bug that prevented timeoutMS from being applied to session and transaction operations, and adds two new options intended for internal use only.
addCommandFields for Collection & IndexView APIs
Warning
The addCommandFields option is intended for internal use only. It may be changed or removed without notice at any time.
Allows adding arbitrary fields to Collection and IndexView commands.
collectionUUID for Client.BulkWrite
Warning
The collectionUUID option is intended for internal use only. It may be changed or removed without notice at any time.
Allows specifying a collectionUUID for bulk write requests.
