mPDF 8.3.1 problem with css

Up until version 8.2.7 of mPDF (reports generated from an <TABLE html), I had no problems generating files using the MetroUI 4 CSS file as the CSS.

After updating Composer to version 8.3.1, the generated files no longer seem to use my CSS file. What can I check to fix this?

Provide an example code that suffers from this. Preferably create an issue using the bugreport template.
