mpv doesn't exit when it reaches end of file!

Hi,

If I launch mpv from cmd on windows, it exits when it reaches end of file. But if I launch it from yazi or Windows explorer, it stays idle stating: No file -mpv

It used to close correctly there as well.
Could someone help me know what happened?

add idle=once to your config

I have used idle=no and it worked. I have questions however!
I checked the log file and turns out mpv launches with Command line options: '--player-operation-mode=pseudo-gui'
Is this the default or did something on my system cause this to happen? Possibly a windows update or a command I typed?
And is this what is forcing mpv to stay idle?

Pseudo gui mode is enabled automatically when mpv is run outside of terminal window.

How come then mpv exited when I played media previously and all of the sudden it started idling?

Because the default has been changed.
