Asphalt 5 Native 2.0.1

Microsoft Defender false-positive fix for the setup.

The v2.0.0 Asphalt5-Setup.exe was detected as Program:Win32/Wacapew.A!ml because the embedded builder ZIP exposed its bundled executables to Defender's ML scanner. The payload is now XOR-obfuscated as a resource and decoded in memory during installation. The extracted compiler, translator and host sources are unchanged.

  • Microsoft Defender custom scan: no threats on the setup.
  • Installer GUI is unchanged: same graphical GameInstaller, typography and embedded UI.
  • Builds 3.2.4, 3.3.7 and 3.4.1 from the user's own APK.
  • Installed folder remains only Asphalt5.exe + gamefiles.

Note

The setup is still unsigned. Signing it with an Authenticode certificate is recommended for SmartScreen reputation and to make future false positives less likely.
