What's New

  • GUI version added: modern dark-themed tkinter app (Catppuccin Mocha palette)
  • Auto window detection via win32gui — no manual coordinates needed
  • Three OCR preprocessing methods: replace, threshold, original
  • Improved image pipeline: bilateral filter + sharpening before OCR
  • Thread-safe design: worker thread -> queue.Queue -> main thread
  • Real-time sensor card flash animation on data update
  • Excel companion updated to V.0.3.8 — VBA fixes (ScreenUpdating, worksheet caching, Select Case, merged-cell handling)

Notes

Pre-compiled executables are not attached here due to size (~300 MB with Tesseract bundled). Build from source with Nuitka per the README.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 / 11
  • Python 3.10+ (for running from source)
  • Tesseract OCR (local copy via setup_tesseract.py or system-wide install)
