I'm currently studying Computer Science with an emphasis in Bioinformatics at Brigham Young University. I will graduate in April of 2028. I'm passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems, especially those at the intersection of computing and biology. I enjoy breaking down complex problems, designing efficient solutions, and collaborating with others to make ideas come to life. In my free time, I love to dance, go kayaking, and spend time with friends and family.
I built a small, interactive financial calculator that can calculate how long it would take to pay off a loan given a monthly payment, how long it would take to save a desired amount, analyze spending habits, and build a simple budget.
I'm currenlty working on a project that will be able to analyze a file containing a DNA sequence. It will be able to build a reverse complement of the sequence, find the ratios of Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and Thymine, and compare the sequence to another sequence to find any differences.
