Radio Browser provider sorting

When Radio Browser has been added as a provider and looking at their list of stations, by Tag or by Country etc, it seems there's no way to control the sort order of the displayed list.

The 'Sort' icon and drop down menu is at the top as usual, but it does not work correctly. It defaults to 'Original' and if you choose 'Alphabetically' or 'Alphabetically descending' the order does change, but not to what has been selected and the drop down menu still shows 'Original' is selected.

Very easy to see the order is not 'Alphabetically' when that is selected as names starting with a number are mixed up with regular alpha names and the entire list seems to be some random jumble and not 'Alphabetically' at all.

Since elsewhere this list order control menu seems to work as it should and the menu does reflect what was selected, I think this is simply a glitch limited to the Radio Browser list display.

Not a huge deal, but makes trying to find items in a long list rather hard so thought I should mention it.

Can't recreate with the beta. What version of the server are you using?

There is something weird going on with the sort though. Will note it down to look at in the future.

Just a heads-up, but in 2.8.2 this sorting is still not sorted.

Oddly, when selecting the different sort options, different stations can be seen in the list. Not all different, but a lot of differences. Obviously simply sorting a list should never change the actual contents, just the order in which it is displayed.

Yes I haven’t looked at it that much other than to think it may have something to do with the paged way that results are returned
