I would love to use this new feature! I have a library of around 15,000 files mounted from a smb share to my Home Assistant. During the nightly sonic analysis from 00:00 - 04:00 Music Assistant only manages to analyse around 350 files. During this period the device is obviously under constant heavy load and very closed to overheating. Is there any way to offload the initial analysis of the library to another more capable device? I guess the files are identified by their path and filename, so a change in path or filename would trigger new analysis? |

No that is not currently possible. We have discussed the possibility of sharing analysis across the community but that is just thinking out loud at the moment. |

My Pi4 stops talking to its zigbee receiver if I run this process on-device. Being able to run the process for the tracks on a more powerful device of one's own would be fantastic. |

I was thinking about attaching the storage to another device, run MA on that device and copy over the database somehow (maybe even a backup&restore), then run analysis and do all this backwards again. Hence my (unanswered!) question about the id of the tracks. But I understand this could not be an official way. |
