Welcome back!!! we are back to counting down to the next major thing in the persona series! Episode aigis is set to release on September 10th and with that we can start counting the days until the release!! glad to be back with the bot :)

Here's what changed:

• changed the timestamp to September 10th, midnight GMT
• Changed all the text to now say Episode Aigis instead of just P3R
• removed /vote and /news, updated help accordingly

Version 1.6.1

This is almost certainly the last "major" update i will do to this bot, the game releases in 12 days so i cant do much!
lets see what changed!

Here's what changed:

• changed the timestamp to be an hour earlier (midnight CET)
• fixed spelling
• added /vote (the bot is on top.gg now!)

to finish this off, i want to thank anyone that used the bot even if it wasn't many! it was fun running it :)
I'm also very excited to play the actual game after running this bot for, what has it been? 6 months? at least since the release date was announced.

I'm VERY excited to announce that i have fixed the issues i had with data saving on the bot and the hosting and i have now converted from JSON to a MySQL database 🥳
unfortunately that's the only thing i could've gone for since the other ones would hit even deeper than the hosting already is in my wallet so we'll have to deal with it for now

Here's what changed:

• deleted jsonlib.py (don't need it anymore since i converted to a database)
• added database.py which handles all interactions with the database
• added a little 'loading leaderboards' embed before the boards are loaded because the database is slow 😴
• temporarily removed the user info at the bottom of the boards, i will try to implement it back ASAP but i cant make any promises

I'm going to work on the user info on the leaderboard, after that i will probably try and implement pages to the boards. i don't think it will take very long for me to implement those two things though so expect a new patch soon!

very minor update to fix some small issues

Here's what changed:

• made it so instead of pinging users on the leaderboard, we now use their username. this way you can see the username and not some random jumble of numbers AS a tag. happened when you didn't share a server with a user
• added a short invite link! link goes like so: https://nanewtech.github.io/P3RE-Countdown/invite
  feel free to use it :)

i realized some technical issues with the way i save the data so please excuse any issues with the bot in the near future while i convert to a better solution!🙏

Persona 3 Reload Countdown bot v1.5.0

This version marks the version where I have started hosting the bot 24/7. I've made some minor changed before hosting it but they aren't THAT huge

heres what changed:

• added a README and planned_features markdown file to the repository to explain the bots functions more and be transparent about features i want to add
• added a changelog link to the status command so you can visit this very page and read about whats new
• added a "Current Session online since:" section to the status command
• as mentioned in the section above, started hosting the bot 24/7 on the cloud
