OpenNotchi v0.16.0
Added
- Closed-pill timer (Windows): a running timer or Pomodoro now shows in the closed pill, like on macOS: a ring that empties as time runs out, the countdown with a blinking colon, Pomodoro session dots, green breaks, and an orange pulse in the last minute.
Changed
- Ask AI (Windows): the AI tab opens taller, so chat messages have room above the composer.
- Header actions (Windows): the buttons on the right follow the tab: lyrics, share and full-screen player on Music, keep awake on Notes.
- The pill no longer has a drop shadow around it (Windows).
Fixed
- The Windows timer keeps running when you switch tabs; it used to stop.
- Saving, copying and sharing a lyric card (Windows) failed whenever the accent came from the album cover.
- The Windows pill no longer opens when the cursor only passes near it, and it now closes reliably when the cursor leaves.
- Opening the full-screen player (Windows) could freeze every other pill action until restart.
- The Windows pill no longer slides out of view or closes by itself when opening Ask AI or the Mirror.
- Browser music (Windows) shows the song's cover instead of sometimes keeping the browser's icon.
Install (macOS): open OpenNotchi.dmg and drag OpenNotchi to Applications.
The app isn't notarized yet, so on first launch go to
System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
Install (Windows): run OpenNotchi-Windows-setup.exe.
If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info and Run anyway.
