Fixed

  • Spotify Connect & Remote Sync (macOS):
    • Fixed infinite spinning button during Spotify login by ensuring authentication window presentation anchors properly and handling session start failures.
    • Added safety timeouts and cancelled stale authentication sessions.
    • Prevented premature account logout during temporary network reconnections or wake from sleep (retains refresh tokens safely).
    • Resolved playback state and artwork synchronization conflict between local macOS Spotify and remote Spotify Web API (phone, speaker, TV).
    • Automatically refreshes tokens upon receiving HTTP 401 Unauthorized responses.
  • Settings Stability & Search (macOS):
    • Fixed application freeze when opening Settings, searching preferences, or switching between panes by maintaining a stable sidebar list and preventing selection loops.
    • Eliminated high-frequency background accessibility polling timers on the main runloop.
  • DevTools UI Freeze (Windows):
    • Fixed freeze when opening the Dev tab on Windows by converting polling to non-overlapping sequential execution with active unmount cancellation.
    • Eliminated redundant netstat process spawns and removed invalid TCPv6 protocol flag calls in the Rust backend.
    • Added Stdio::null() and resilient mutex handling to prevent background process hangs and threadpool starvation.

Install (macOS): open OpenNotchi.dmg and drag OpenNotchi to Applications.
The app isn't notarized yet, so on first launch go to
System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Install (Windows): run OpenNotchi-Windows-setup.exe.
If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info and Run anyway.
