Hey shub, there is a better translation of the Russki text here which shows that for the coffee script, the original one is sending "some weird gibberish" (or 'kakuyu-the abracadabra'... lol) to the coffee machine (suggesting perhaps binary or some other non Unix like command) which also lends credence to the whole hacker thing.

My guess is no, these are not our original Russian-hacker-guy scripts but that this is, rather, a nod to some cool ideas and a great story.

Even if it's not the original scripts, we should all be automating our office coffee machines anyway, right?
