save "Keep article unread" across clients + sessions?

When I mark an article as 'keep unread', the flag seems to only hold for the current session. When I reload the page (or open in separate tab), or open News on a different device, the 'keep unread' flag appears not set, requiring me to set it again which becomes tedious when I want to keep multiple articles unread for a few days.

Alternatively, an option in Settings to not automatically mark articles as read just by clicking on them would perhaps satisfy the above use case more elegantly, eliminating the need to tag 'keep unread' at all.

Hi yea as far as I remember this feature is only part of the web frontend at the moment and there is no implementation in the API.

So it's only for the current browser session.

Thanks! I think I can work around for the moment by using the Starring feature, so definitely not some urgent request, hehe.
