Suggestion: Be able to tweak per feed refresh rate

I realize this might be hard to implement due to the required cronjob, and in all honesty my main issue is not the fault of the news app.

In my case it stems from something google has changed recently (big surprise..). With a default value of 10 minute refresh on the rss job and the ammount of feeds I subsribe to.. I get blacklisted from youtube and is required to sign in due to bot activity*. I mainly use news in order to subscribe to various channels. Tweaking the cronjob is easy enough but there are some feeds I'd like more regular updates from that are not from shittube.

It's a superb app and I would kill my youtube usage over stop using rss. So this is not something I'd call high priority, more of heads up because if google is doing it.. Others will unfortunently follow.

• I've not been able to verify this by any anouncement on their part but I don't consume youtube in any other way on my network. Regardless if my assumption is wrong or not I think this would be a good addition to the app.

You can do this already by enabling Use next update time for feed updates in the admin settings.

This adjusts the refresh time individually for each feed, to prevent unnecessary requests. You can check how well this works for the feeds in the Feed Settings, where the next update time for each feed is displayed.

Another key point to consider is that if you have enabled full-text for the feeds, the current version generates an excessive number of requests. You can use the beta version here, which has a fix for this, or, if not needed, disable it.
