Android 0.1.0-beta.7

Descriptive Android notifications and foreground toasts now show the event heading and property/unit context when supplied by an updated MakeReadyOS server. Expanded notifications show the summary; free-form notes and access codes are excluded by the sender. Session binding, opt-in, expiry and duplicate suppression remain enforced. Upgrade the relay before the API, then install the matching Firebase-enabled build. Older senders retain a generic fallback. This public APK is the generic non-Firebase build; operator-specific Firebase APKs and credentials are not included. Bundled web source: 7b9077d. Android version code: 9. Unit tests, lint, builds and signature checks passed; live physical-device delivery of the new summary remains to be confirmed.

Adds optional shared-relay phone verification, server-origin isolation, and serialized notification registration. Existing direct Firebase delivery remains supported. Version code 8; preserves the existing release signing identity. Bundled MakeReadyOS source: 1c4be8b. The attached generic APK does not include Firebase configuration; native push requires a matching Firebase-enabled publisher/operator build and a configured sender or relay. Relay deployment and physical-device acceptance testing are still required. No sender credentials or deployment configuration are included.

The attached APK is the generic build and contains no operator Firebase project. Native notifications require a separately built Firebase-configured APK and a matching server sender; see BUILDING.md and FIREBASE.md. Operator-specific APKs and credentials are not published here.

Generic and Firebase release builds passed local unit tests, lint, and signature verification. Notification delivery remains dependent on server preferences, Android permissions and Google Play services; this release does not claim live delivery verification on every device.

The attached APK is the generic build: it does not include an operator Firebase project and does not enable native push by itself. For native push, operators must build with their own client configuration, configure the matching server sender, and verify delivery on a Google Play services device. See BUILDING.md and FIREBASE.md. Firebase-configured operator builds and credentials are not included in this release. Live Firebase delivery has not yet been verified for this beta.

MakeReadyOS Android 0.1.0-beta.3

This is a Firebase SDK preparation release, not a working native-push release.
No server sender, account-linked device registration, notification controls or
foreground notification toasts have shipped in this release.

Changes

• Optional Firebase Messaging SDK build using the Google services plugin.
• Private client configuration read from ignored nonpublish/google-services.json.
• Explicit -PfirebaseNotifications=true opt-in; generic builds contain no operator Firebase configuration.
• Messaging auto-registration and Analytics collection disabled until authenticated opt-in is implemented.
• Firebase, Resend SMTP and Cloudflare Tunnel setup guides, with credential and verification guidance.

Installation

The attached APK is the generic build, not an operator-configured Firebase build.
Install over a previous signed beta; do not uninstall or clear storage.
Application ID and signing certificate are unchanged. Android version code is 5.

Operator-configured builds must be distributed privately. Their intended Firebase
client identifiers are embedded in the APK, but service-account credentials must
never be included.

Existing beta limitations remain. Creating a Firebase project or installing an

Update

Install makereadyos-android-0.1.0-beta.2.apk over the signed beta.1.
The application ID and release signing key are unchanged; no uninstall or data
reset is needed. Android version code increases from 3 to 4.

If still using the older separate test app, sync its pending work before removing
it. This beta does not migrate that application's local data.

No workflow or server changes. Existing beta limitations remain as documented in

Installing

Download makereadyos-android-0.1.0-beta.1.apk. This release installs as
MakeReadyOS with application ID com.makereadyos.android.

It installs alongside the earlier test app and does not transfer that app's local
data. Sync pending work in the old app before uninstalling it. Enter your domain
and sign in once in the beta. Future signed beta releases update this app in place.

Verification and Limits

20 JVM tests passed, release lint completed without errors, APK signing verified,
and signed installation, first launch and invalid-domain handling were checked
in an Android emulator. This is not certification of every physical-device workflow.

No native background sync, native push notifications, external onboarding links,
general downloads or in-app server switching yet. Live session verification still
requires connectivity; the optional offline summary is read-only. Uninstalling or
clearing app data removes pending work. See README.md and TESTING.md.
