Here's the dirty secret of "AI design" so far: the engine got smart, but the workflow stayed a mess of tabs. Idea in one place. References in a browser. Raw material in a folder. Editing in a tool. Notes in a doc. Hand-off in yet another app. You spent the day context-switching, not designing.

0.9.0 put the AI engine in everyone's hands. 0.10.0 collapses the rest of the day into a single window.

Go from a vague idea → discovering references → gathering raw material → editing interactively → queuing notes → polishing motion → handing the result off to an editor or a Code Agent for production. All of it, without ever leaving the app.

And because you can fire comments into a queue, run several sessions at once, and gather assets in parallel, it stops feeling like one assistant and starts feeling like a whole local design team working for you. 🚀

🧱 What changed under the hood

The centerpiece of 0.10.0 is one deliberate consolidation — 211 files, +36k lines (#3516) — that turns the project view from a chat box into a real all-in-one studio:

• 🎨 The design workspace. A Lexical-powered composer makes @mentions atomic pills with caret-anchored mention/slash popovers; interactive terminals run a session right beside the chat; comments carry drag-and-drop image and note attachments; a browser-style reference board with page capture pulls external references straight into a project; and you can fork a conversation from any message. • 💬 Comment at the speed of thought — into a queue. Fire preview comments while a run is still going; they queue, deck markers pin in place, and nothing blocks on the previous turn finishing. • 🗂️ Bring your own models — and gather material in parallel. 1. Does the one window actually hold? Reference board, terminals, queued comments, forks — when the whole craft is in one place, does it feel like a studio, or does something still send you reaching for another tab?
2. Comment-into-a-queue. Firing notes while a run is still going — does that match how you actually think, or does the queue get in your way?
3. BYOK + parallel sessions. Did bringing your own models and running several sessions at once hold up under real load?
4. The hand-off. Taking a design out of the studio into an editor or a Code Agent — where did the seam feel rough?
