Windows interprets AltGr as Ctrl+Alt. The simple fix would be to change the Ctrl check in the Key Down VI to Ctrl AND NOT Alt. We need to make sure this does not affect other workflows in the editor before acting. |

It's a little late to be trying to get this into the release candidate (which I am trying to get completed in the morning), but this seems low enough risk to possibly put in the formal release. |

On an AZERTY keyboard, when writing text using the "Text" tool from the palette, if I press AltGr to type alternate characters such as ~#{[|`^@]}, it switches to the "Dropper" tool, just like Ctrl does. At least while typing text with the Text tool, pressing AltGr should not switch to the Dropper tool. I think it also applies to QWERTZ keyboards (actually whatever keyboard layout that requires pressing AltGr to type alternate characters).
