All four corners as hot corner to trigger arbitrary commands

Now that we have the overview and the top-left hot corner, it would be amazing to be able to configure all four corners as potentially hot corners, and assign any command to them (i.e. lock, turn off displays, etc).

Do you really want to lock or turn off displays from a hot corner? It's quite easy to trigger by accident

It's something I always had setup on gnome so that I can very quickly lock my screen if I need to walk away from my computer. But those are just examples, I think people use hot-corners for all sorts of things. Especially if you add the "force" option.

Would also enable changing the default top left bind to another location (I end up accidentally triggering it when hitting the back button on my browser so I wanted to change it to bottom left), or change its functionality.

I wanted to bind the top right corner to my notification center toggle when I discovered that it's not possible.
But maybe also more playful things like changing a wallpaper could be bound to a corner.
Having the option would certainly be good, I'm sure people will come up with useful (or not so useful) stuff.

I could probably tack a simple bash script execution function onto #2108 to make hot corners generally more useful, but that does broaden the PR's scope quite a bit without any discreet feedback from any maintainers or contributors.

The only thing I'd say here, is that even a single configurable hot corner would be better than the current hardcoded one. Top left is where I have my workspace overview in waybar - which I'm finding myself to move mouse on quite often to flick or switch between workspaces. It's very easy to trigger hot corner without meaning to do so. In my case top right is where I very rarely move the mouse to (as that's a power button) - so moving it there for overview is more intentional gesture from my end.

I'd expect other users to be in a similar position here, just with different corners and apps?

#2108 has been merged since 25.11 (https://niri-wm.github.io/niri/Configuration%3A-Gestures.html#hot-corners), and I'm currently chipping away at #3016, which will add pressure to make the triggering more intentional.

Still interested in adding custom commands down the line at some point though! Just don't know whether that's something that'll be accepted or not yet.

Thanks! I might try it, but it hasn't been updated in years it seems and native module might have a conflict, so native would be much preferred.
