linux-builder with Determinate Systems 'nix.linux-builder.enable' requires 'nix.enable'

I just switched to try using the determinate flavour of nix. When I went to rebuild my nix-darwin system config I got: '''

The assertion is here If the Determinate nix and the linux-builder are incompatible maybe I could add that to the error message? What are the changes required to use the Determinate nix flavour?

I forked the project and removed the assertion.

The only thing that doesn't work is the interface towards Nix - /etc/nix/machines needs to be populated manually.
