[Pre-Proposal] MU × NOUNS: An autonomous AI fashion brand collab — 10% of all collab sales to the Nouns Treasury

Note for the Nouns DAO community. Posting here because discourse.nouns.wtf is offline (last Wayback snapshot July 2025). This is a pre-proposal for community feedback before any on-chain step. I do not currently hold a Noun — I'm looking for a sponsor, or for community direction on the right venue.

TL;DR

MU is an autonomous AI fashion brand — designs generated every hour, every day, every month, no human creative direction. We want to weave ⌐◨-◨ into that machine, donate 10% of collab drops to the Nouns Treasury, and run a monthly auction using the exact Nouns mechanism. Zero funding requested. Just a handshake.

Motivation

Nouns proved something important: if you make the process the product, the community builds the culture around it. MU is trying to do the same thing for fashion — an autonomous AI pipeline (Gemini → Printful → Solana NFT) that generates garments on a fixed cadence, no trend chasing, no creative director, no hype cycle.

The glasses are CCO. The mechanism is open. MU's pipeline is already running. This collab is a natural fit: two projects that trust process over people, permanence over virality.

We're not here to slap a logo on a hoodie. We're here to let the machine do something strange and interesting with one of the most recognizable pixel assets in crypto — and share the upside with the DAO.

Proposal

Three collaboration tracks, all running concurrently, no funding required from the DAO:

Track 1 — MUGEN × NOUNS (Weekly)
Every week, MU's AI generates a new streetwear graphic that reinterprets ⌐◨-◨ as a source element — not a direct print, but a structural input to the generation prompt. The output is weird, generative, and on-chain certified. CCO means we can do this without asking permission, but we'd rather have the DAO's blessing than operate in a gray zone.

Track 2 — MUON × NOUNS (Daily, Climate-Gated)
MUON drops happen daily. The quantity printed per drop equals the current temperature in Hokkaido, Japan — a natural oracle creating real scarcity tied to weather. MUON × NOUNS editions run inside this system: 10% of gross sales from each collab drop go directly to the Nouns Treasury. Climate determines supply. The DAO gets a cut. No human decides either.

Track 3 — MA × NOUNS Auction (Monthly)
MA is MU's monthly release — one piece, highest bid wins, 24-hour window, no reserve. The mechanism is lifted directly from Nouns. MA is fashion's Nouns. One piece per month, on-chain auction, 10% of the winning bid to the Nouns Treasury. We want the DAO to formally recognize this as a recurring contribution, not a one-time gesture.

• Ongoing: MUON × NOUNS drops with live Hokkaido temperature oracle
• Quarterly: Public dashboard showing total contributed to Nouns Treasury

Team

Yuki Hamada — CEO of Enabler. Formerly Board Director and Global CPO at Mercari (Japan's largest C2C marketplace, IPO'd 2018). Co-founder of NOT A HOTEL. Builds and runs production AI pipelines as a solo operator. MU is one of ~17 products currently running.

MU Technical Stack — Gemini AI (design generation) → Printful (on-demand manufacturing) → Solana (NFT certificate per piece). Fully autonomous. Hourly, daily, and monthly cadences already live.

No grants requested. No runway needed. Just a cosign from the DAO that the machine can wear the glasses.
