Automatically Delete Media

You can set a source to automatically delete downloaded media after a certain number of days. To enable it, set the Retention Period (days) field on a source.

A few things to be aware of:

• You can prevent specific media from being automatically deleted by viewing a Media Item, clicking Edit, and enabling Prevent Automatic Deletion.
• The retention period is relative to when the media was downloaded, not when it was uploaded to YouTube. If you need to filter by upload date, use the Cutoff Date setting on the source instead.
• Media deletion runs once daily. If you set a retention period incorrectly, you likely have some time to revert it — but act quickly.
