Marking that a location has multiple markers

I have a database where I track our vacations. We have vacationed at the same location in different years. However, only the last year is displayed if the coordinates are the same. It would be nice if it were marked that a point has more than one reference.

I have the same use case. As a workaround, you can use an rgba color to make a marker transparent, e.g. rgba(0, 128, 0, 0.5) for green and half opacity, and then you can see at a glance where there are multiple markers because they combine to make a darker color. However, you still can really only see the most recent one. I would love to be able to apply some kind of progressive rotation to markers at the same or similar locations, or show multiple icons in a marker, or stack them in a cascading way that makes it a little easier to see how many there are.
