Oink 0.2.1
Oink 0.2.1 improves screen arrangement, audio controls and game mode, fixes file dragging and saved layouts, and makes uninstalling more reliable.
New
- Adjust a screen's remote pointer speed directly from its context menu.
- Volume changes apply while you drag the slider. The sidebar speaker icon shows local output volume and mute state.
Changes
- Auto-compact moves each computer's screens together without changing their internal arrangement, preserves exact screen contacts, and leaves overlapping computer bounds in place.
- Pausing Oink, using the emergency release shortcut or restarting Oink re-enables disabled keyboards and mice together.
- Quit from the tray or menu bar menu now exits directly without a confirmation dialog.
- Clearer permission guidance and status: computers without Accessibility access are marked and hidden from the layout until access is granted.
- Windows uninstall now quits Oink gracefully and removes the uninstalling user's Oink data by default. Upgrades preserve data.
Fixes
- Fixed the main window sometimes not appearing when Oink is opened.
- Fixed saved layouts getting stuck syncing or not merging correctly when joining a group.
- Game mode stays enabled when the pointer leaves a computer and returns. Automatic detection responds faster, and moving between computers no longer produces false game-mode notices.
- Fixed file drags through multiple computers, duplicate drag items and delays when preparing a drag. Improved release of the source mouse button.
- Fixed received files appearing under the wrong source computer or with incorrect dates.
- Fixed device controls sometimes rejecting clicks after their state changed, and visual seams and focus outlines in the layout.
- Fixed temporary permission and screen-information states being reported as failures.
- Mac uninstall cleans up File Provider data more reliably.
- Restored the Windows Uninstall entry. Uninstall completes even if some leftover data cannot be removed.
