Scratch Studio 1.0.2
Scratch Studio 1.0.2
A small maintenance release that restores Word export of the Methods section and corrects how the app describes the file formats it imports.
Install
- Download
Scratch-Studio-1.0.2.dmgbelow. - Open it and drag Scratch Studio into Applications.
- Launch from Applications.
Developer-ID signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens with no security prompt. Requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later.
Fixed in 1.0.2
- Methods export to Word (.docx) works again. In 1.0.1 the .docx option in the Methods export dialog was greyed out because a required component was missing from the build. It is now included, and the build checks it so this cannot regress. Plain text and Markdown export were not affected.
- Accurate import formats. The app no longer offers Zeiss CZI, Nikon ND2 or Leica LIF import, which this version does not support. Export those files to TIFF or OME-TIFF first; the in-app Help (Importing Images) now walks through doing this in ZEN, NIS-Elements, LAS X or Fiji. OME-TIFF and Fiji-saved TIFFs keep their pixel size, which Scratch Studio reads on import.
- Multi-page TIFFs, clarified. Only the first page of a multi-page TIFF is used, so save a time-lapse series as one file per timepoint. The tour and Help previously said otherwise.
No analysis or statistics behaviour has changed since 1.0.1.
