Tekken 3 Expanded 1.4.1: a lot of fixes (the slowdowns of 1.4.0 first), Wang's Tekken Tag Tournament ending, and a stage select for VS and Practice.
Coming from 1.4.0: copy the new files over your install and click Update & play: the TTT characters are brought up to date (three update steps, no new import) and the TTT endings are rebuilt. Coming from an older version: see Updating to a new version.

Take the ZIP of your system, one entry point each:
- Tekken3Expanded-1.4.1-Windows.zip: Setup Tekken 3.cmd (Steam Deck with Proton: this one).
- Tekken3Expanded-1.4.1-macOS.zip: Setup Tekken 3.command.
- Tekken3Expanded-1.4.1-Linux.zip (experimental): Setup Tekken 3.sh (Steam Deck with Distrobox: this one).
- Tekken3Expanded-1.4.1-Android.zip: Android APK, built on Windows or macOS. Entry point: Build Android APK. Build it in the folder of your 1.4.0 Android install to keep its signing key, or Android will refuse the update.
Added
- Wang's Tekken Tag Tournament ending joins TTT Cinematics, on his TTT stage: eight endings now.
- Stage Select: pick the stage of a VS or Practice fight at the character select, as in Tekken Tag Tournament on PS2. First the game (Tekken 3 or Tekken Tag Tournament), then its stages, or DEFAULT, or RANDOM. Tekken 3's stages are listed by fighter, each with its music (Gun Jack's theme on Nina's stage, Tiger's on Eddy's…), Gon's and Dr. B's included. The last stage is kept for the rematch. Turn it off with STAGE SELECT: OFF in Options → GAME OPTION. (#148)
- TTT Hitspark, more of the arcade's 64 × 64 effects: the pink throw spark, the knockdown smoke and the poison mist. Gon and Dr. B hit with Heihachi's lightning. (#112)
- The setup accepts the Tekken Tag Tournament PS2 disc version 2.00 (Greatest Hits) as well as 1.00. (#154)
Fixed
- Performance: the stages that slowed down in 1.4.0 run at full speed again (Hwoarang's and Law's arcade stages, Baek's, Lee's and the Mishimas' TTT stages…): the stages cost 5 to 7 times less to draw than in 1.4.0, the characters less too. Unknown's wolf spirit no longer slows the game down. On slower PCs, the crackling sound on Baek's TTT stage during the lightning goes with it. (#158, #162, #160)
- Pressing Start during the TTT Embu in the attract mode no longer leaves the game sped up with the Embu's music playing, then crashing.
- Wang's TTT stage: the carousel has its horses again. (#162)
- Yoshimitsu's TTT stage: the snow falls again. King's TTT stage: the wind in the fighters' clothes and the cold mist around their feet. (#168, #167)
- TTT school stage: the caged Panda leaves when Panda fights. (#165)
- True Ogre's fights on a TTT stage take that stage's night version, as in Tekken Tag Tournament, instead of Unknown's stage (the Arcade boss still fights on Unknown's stage). (#172)
- Gon and Dr. B get a TTT stage (Eddy's by day, Nina's) with STAGES on TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT; Roger and Alex no longer take Gon's PS1 stage on AUTO. In Team Battle, the stage follows the fighters who actually fight. (#171)
- With the TTT PS2 music, Tekken 3's music no longer comes back for a moment between two fights. (#164)
- Team Battle: Devil, Angel and Unknown now join the CPU's team now and then. (#173)
- Tekken Force: every Tekken 3 character meets their own bosses again, not Paul's.
- Losing to a sub-boss or a boss: YOU LOSE, CONTINUE and GAME OVER no longer zoom on the loser. (#156)
- Attract mode: Tekken 3's own Embu are back; the guests' Embu comes as a turn of its own. (#155)
- The guests keep their 64 × 64 strong-hit effect in the Embu. (#29)
- Unknown's wolf spirit no longer freezes against True Ogre.
- Unknown's blades have their hilt in Yoshimitsu's and Kunimitsu's styles. (#150)
- Ogre's and True Ogre's TTT moves: the ws2 and WS f+2 sparks show at the hand, and True Ogre's Buffalo Horn hits. (#152)
- True Ogre's TTT fire breath only scratches Gon, as in Tekken 3. (#170)
- Launcher: two controllers with the same name (a DualSense on USB and one on Bluetooth) can be given to player 1 and player 2. (#153)
Changed
- Save states made with 1.4.0 don't load in 1.4.1 (the recompiled code changed). Memory cards are not affected.
Known issues
- Geometry correction does not cover the TTT stages yet.
- Arcade stage 7 (the school): a thin seam can show in the floor under some win cameras.

Download the ZIP for your platform, extract all of it (7-Zip on Windows), start Setup Tekken 3 (PC) or Build Android APK (Android). Instructions: README.
No game files are included. You need your own Tekken 3 (USA) disc image and your own Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 3 arcade ROMs: see What you need.
