Picture in Picture or background support

I started my love for python with Pythonista & absolutely loving Pythonista Lab!

My only request is for a Picture in Picture option or backgrounding.

I currently use Pyto and the background feature works by playing a silent mp3 / wav file to trick iOS into letting it stay alive a lot longer. (My tests have let scripts run for 12h+)
Not sure if it helps much, but I did see iOS 26 will be allowing things to run in the background via API; “BGContinuedProcessingTask”.
Would love to have this sort of functionality added if possible.
