PR 8493 - Need this to get osc/rdma working for some btls. - all of cisco MTT fails without this. Win_create.

PR 8343 - ROMIO update after commits make it upstream. - waiting on upstream

PR 8312 - remove C/R - George needs rebase, and review. - George will rebase. Very desirable.

PR 7285 - ompi_info also show PRRTE MCA params -

JUST NEEDS MERGE: AWS 8536 - GPU Direct - amazon please merge. - George suggested some dt changes. Fine as is, but could get better. - recommend blocking branching since DT is "core" * PR 8383 - Binomial Scatter + packed data - retesting now

JUST NEEDS Re-REVIEW: George? - External 32 - PR7919 - Might be ready to merge. - George will take a look.

Needs more work: Josh - PR 8409 - 3rd Party Config options

Discuss: Symbol prefixing - Do we need 8388 for v5.0 - Treematch properly prefix, or can we fix up 8262 ?

  • Not a blocker, could go in later.
  • Some controversy, not sure which PR we want. Not a problem to come in in v5.0.x
  • Debate is about how to handle 3rd party libraries? If 3rd party library has symbols that we don't think are prefixed?

Static default of DSO (PR8132)

  • This one came out of "good idea".
  • Changes NOTHING about symbols that add to global symbol pollution.
  • Packagers can pass some addition config flags to make certain components DSO
  • Brian will rebase, may need a re-review.

Take ownership 7977 - Minor change to env name (maybe backward compat break) - Want this.

Whitelisted Issues (if we can get PRs)

  • 7937 - Obtain cachelinesize from hwloc topo - WHO??? - Ralph will take ownership
  • 7620 - MPI_Intercomm_merge incorrect ordering - WHO??? - Blocker. George will take this. This should be an error.
  • 8464 - Edger needs help from whoever's familiar with new threading frameworks. - Shared PSM component doesn't configure correctly anymore. - Howard will take a look at this. Related to support to QTHREAD / Argobots. - block release.

LOGISTICS: SUBMODULES:

  • PMIx release? or release branch?
    • Top of PMIx v4.0.x branch, ASPIRE to v4.1.x branch
  • PRRTE branch?
    • master for now, and in a week or so, will fork a PRRTE v2.0.x
  • Get Organizations to add CI
  • setup permissions on release branch after pushed.
