Expected Behavior

I expect, that if I click on "Set as default" for any model, then it will auto-selected when i open webpage with OpenWeb UI.

Actual Behavior

Every time I open webpage with OpenWeb UI - no model selected. Even after settings model by clicking "Set as default"

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open web page with OpenWeb UI
2. select a model. I selected "local-devstral-24b"
3. click "Set as default"
4. reload the page

At his point: no model selected.

i do confirm, we are trying to migrate to 0.6.43 from 0.6.41

normally we have setup as value Mistral-small as default model
a non admin user when log to openwebui has no model preselected
evenif he selected mistral-small and click on "set as default" a green popup appears but after if you open a new chat the model is still not set...
