Initial Goals

Hiya! So, as we started talking about on Telegram, lets continue the conversation here about what our initial goals should be, organisation, collaboration model etc.

From initial conversations the current focus is on guidelines, reports, and design of interfaces. This would allow any new software being built from the point of release to have stepping stones in quality, design, and interoperability, meaning any software built after that point should last longer and needs less re-development.

A particular point of importance (IMO) being that we gotta do some real user research with non-technical users at all stages of work, so we don't end up just building a terminal app that's incomprehensible to anyone else who needs to use it.

What it is an end user is trying to do can very often end up influencing how something like an API works so it's always good to get that stuff in on the ground floor.

Proposal for documentation:

1. Meeting agenda and minutes should be put into the documents repository.
2. Issues that are open to be edited by everyone should be put into the wiki (eg. list of projects)
3. Other "official" documentation should be in the repository - we need to define a review process there
4. If wiki documents have stabilized, they could be migrated to the repo
