Necessary Internet Connection?

Every time I boot the launcher or move from settings to launch, I'm required to have an internet connection. Is there a way to turn this off I'm not noticing?

Unfortunately there isn't. Since it needs to check the server repository for the data of the games (which games are there, their screenshots, their launch parameters, etc.) an internet connection is required for this. I suggested the option to use local server files, but that will probably never be implemented. Although considering that all Jackbox games also require an internet connection no matter what (except the classic YDKJ games and YDKJ 2015 I guess) I don't think this is much of an issue.

Caching to a local folder would be nice, one less thing relying on the IoT

I agree. That's why I suggested that issue. Unfortunately I'm not a dev so there's not much I can do.
