Call for contributors: building the metadata plane for agent workspaces

NoKV is looking for active contributors.

We are building a Rust metadata control plane for artifact-heavy agentic systems: one filesystem-shaped namespace over the runs, logs, checkpoints, generated files, traces, reports, and other artifacts that AI agents need to navigate.

The core idea: agents should be able to discover what exists, query metadata, read only what they need, and cite exact evidence — without dragging the entire workspace into context.

Current areas where contributors can help:

• Rust SDK and agent interface
• FUSE hardening
• S3-compatible object storage path
• metadata engine work
• MCP server
• docs and examples
• benchmark harnesses
• AI infra integrations

NoKV is early: single-node today, distributed metadata on the roadmap. That makes it a good time to shape the architecture.
