On 11 November at 5 p.m. (GMT) (Lisbon time, 6 p.m. CET), another free session of ‘Art meets Tech’ by the Goethe Institute will take place, in which we will explore art, time, technology and transformation.
With her groundbreaking artworks, Amy Karle explores how new and exponentially growing technologies such as AI, biodesign and quantum systems are not only tools of innovation, but also companions in the unfolding development of life, intelligence, consciousness and the future.
Based on intensive observation, holistic reflection and multidisciplinary collaboration, this session invites participants to tune in to the signals of the future that are already resonating in the present. Participants will get to know Karle's artworks, which translate invisible forces – biological, emotional and cosmic – into visible, tangible forms that awaken new forms of collaboration across collective intelligence. From co-creation with stem cells to encoding DNA and human heritage in space-bound archives, her work shows what it means to be human in a rapidly changing world.
