The premiere staged preview of Quantum, Ritual, and Relational Futures will take place at E·SCAPE Experimental Art Space in Shanghai on the evening of June 5.

More than a conventional performance, it constitutes an on-site experiment interweaving physicality, sound and interactive moving images.

Born out of communal living, discussions, rehearsals and creative development in Zhujiajiao, this live experimental work draws upon core quantum mechanics concepts: superposition, measurement, entanglement and uncertainty. It also references invocation, reception and binding rooted in Asian ritual traditions, translating these ideas into tangible connections between bodies, sound, visuals, physical artifacts and the audience.

Framed as a Work-in-Progress Performance, the piece is never a finished, closed product but an evolving relational field still in formation. Rather than mere spectators, you are invited to be co-witnesses: to observe how connections emerge and shift, and how a provisional community takes shape in real time.
