I'm about to jump into QuecPython for a project I'm working on, and to create some instructional videos. I wanted to start this conversation to comment on some issues that I've come across so far, and my worries about the docs being out of date.
I bought a EG912U-GL to do some testing. It seems that I can also use the BG95 series of modules?
I ended up wasting a lot of time since the drivers were not compatible with Windows 11. I had to open a support ticket and get the newer "Quectel_Windows_USB_Driver(U)_V1.2_EN" driver, which is now working on my machine.
Is this correct and the latest version? I don't want to be working from old documentation that is out of date. I found this repo, which is great, but now I don't see QPYcom here as a repo, nor instructions, and so I'm not clear where to start. Are the instructions in the link above correct? Is that the latest version of QPYcom?
I don't want to continue to go down bad paths. :-)
I look forward to your answers, and to getting all of this working!

Hello,
I'm about to jump into QuecPython for a project I'm working on, and to create some instructional videos. I wanted to start this conversation to comment on some issues that I've come across so far, and my worries about the docs being out of date.
I bought a EG912U-GL to do some testing. It seems that I can also use the BG95 series of modules?
I found the documentation here: https://developer.quectel.com/doc/quecpython/Getting_started/en/4G/driver_prepare.html
I ended up wasting a lot of time since the drivers were not compatible with Windows 11. I had to open a support ticket and get the newer "Quectel_Windows_USB_Driver(U)_V1.2_EN" driver, which is now working on my machine.
As I continue to read the docs, I see the next steps are the tools. "QPYcom" is mentioned, and the link is to here: https://python.quectel.com/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2024/11/QPYcom_V3.6.0.zip
