Welcome, contributors! Here's how to get started:

1. Find an issue — Browse good first issues
2. Comment on it — Say you'd like to work on it
3. Fork & clone — git clone https://github.com/<you>/SynapseKit
4. Install — uv sync --group dev
5. Branch — git checkout -b feat/your-feature
6. Code + test — uv run pytest tests/ -q
7. Open a PR — Target main, reference the issue with Closes #N

Rules:

• Never push directly to main — always open a PR
• All tests must pass before merge
• One issue per PR
