NPD School Census - IDACI and IMD variables

Question / Problem statement

The NPD School Census data includes IDACI, IMD, and IMD domain variables with values ranging from 1 to 10. Are these values deciles? If so, are they calculated at the LSOA level or MSOA level (as only MSOA geography is available in ECHILD NPD)?

They are deciles, 1 being the most deprived. They were derived by DfE on the basis of the LSOAs before being imported into the SRS.
