are there two vault in the same browser, extention vault and web page vault?

I was using extension and then tried to open webpage at https://app.aliasvault.net/sync in browser, I thought when extension is open then it will directly vault will open but I have to input username and password, does this mean that there two vault in the same browser ?

Hi, yes, the web app and browser extension do not currently share sessions because they are separate clients. So even if the extension is unlocked, you still need to unlock/login to the web app separately.
