Spring is slowly starting to transform into summer (well, in the northern hemisphere at least). Vibrant colors and cozy temperatures shape the outdoors - and there's a lot more to it than just small talk!
Thermodynamics, the study of heat and temperatures, is an exceptional field of science, connecting various areas of physics and mathematics and giving rise to unexpected phenomena, such as the Mpemba effect. π§
For this reason, the May monthly challenge is also temperature-themed. Think weather dashboards, unit converters, climate change visualizations, and of course plenty of potential for physical simulations. But remember - the more creative, the better! π§
As always, you have until the end of the month to code up an ASPL program on this theme. It must be open-source, and a link to it should be posted in a thread to this message or as a comment under the corresponding GitHub discussions announcement in the ASPL monorepo to enter the contest. The winner of the challenge will then be determined by a vote. They will receive a certificate, a book voucher, and a shoutout on social media! π
