All files that I'm trying out are FLAC. I'll try the PPA and see if it gets solved. |

The log file says you open an OGG file from your local Music directory. This doesn't help. Show the output when trying to play a FLAC file which works and one which doesn't (from the FTP share). |

I'll add the two full outputs from startup to playback attempt. Also, just tried the PPA. Error handling is better because it doesn't crash and instead tries to play the next song, but the error remains. |

Linux Mint 22.3, Audacious 4.3.1-2.1build2.
I'm setting up an Ubuntu Server, and one of the things I wanted to use it for is to stream music from it. I found Audacious ideal for that application, but strangely for certain flac files it shows this error and then the app crashes.
This applies to the rest of the album, so it is consistent with the way it might have been encoded. I thought that it could be a sample rate/bit depth thing, but this one is in 44.1-16 and when testing other files like that I don't get that error.
I've also tried playing those same files locally, and it played perfectly. So it is supposed to work, but for some reason it doesn't.
Thanks for your help in advance.
