better failure message when copy and paste token wrong

As a note, using a token, if I run "github push" the typo the code (ex: copy it wrong)
I get this message:

Username for 'https://github.com': xxx
Password for 'https://xxx@github.com':
remote: Support for password authentication was removed on August 13, 2021.
remote: Please see https://docs.github.com/get-started/getting-started-with-git/about-remote-repositories#cloning-with-https-urls for information on currently recommended modes of authentication.

Which only mentions passwords, and since I entered a bad token, assumes I was using one, which confuses me sometimes. Support for github token authentication was not removed, for instance.

Suggestion/feature request: Change failure message to "Invalid token: Support for password authentication was removed..." or something on those lines?
