Contributor list preview not updating since months

Looks like the contributor list (ordered list of contributor's profile pictures shown in the repository homepage) isn't updated for some repositories. I've noticed this on some occasions, but recently I've clearly seen it in action for this repository specifically.

I'm expecting a delay due to server-side caching, but it's been months, and it's not the first time I'm seeing the contributor list on the repository homepage and the dedicated page out of sync for a long time.

• Is there a way to trigger this process?
• Is there any documentation about this? I couldn't find the information I am looking for.

I'm asking because I've advertised I was top contributor on this repo on my curriculum 😁. Don't want interviewers to think I'm lying
