Hi, I'm developing a business solution modelling product that integrates with Github and considering using Marketplace for distribution and payments - it seems like it might be a good fit and have a reasonable cost/benefit tradeoff.

The documentation is a bit sparse in some areas, I'm hoping that someone who has used this platform can provide some insight into the following:

• $500 monthly payment minimum

I understand payments are only transferred into my commerce account if they amount to more than $500 total in a particular month, but what if they don't? Does the balance roll over and get included in the following month and then transfer once it is over 500 in aggregate? That would be fine. Or is it just "lost" forever? Not so fine in my startup phase.

• Free accounts for testing

How do I go about setting up my app for team members and/or early stage customers where I wish to provision the product without charge? I will indeed have a free tier with some capability limits but what if I want to hand out a free registration to the "Pro" plan without putting that as an option for general visibility?

• Any other battle-tested stories?

How have you found the platform in general, any experience with dealing with accounting queries that may have arisen etc?

Thanks @mecodeatlas. I've tried without luck to get an answer direct from the Github support in relation to this previously. Is there an accounts / sales team at Github that would be worth contacting in this regard, in terms of promoting the use of Github marketplace and payments?
