No photo upload feature in the github mobile app copilot

Is there a reason behind that currently there is no photo upload in the github mobile app's copilot agent? I think it would be a reasonable feature, i have a premium subscription and i thought that i could use this chat for personal matters as well and i wouldn't have to make a different subscription to let's say chatgpt while i already have this one. What are your thoughts on this?

From what I’ve seen so far, GitHub Mobile’s Copilot chat is focused on helping with
code, pull requests, and repository context. Since Copilot doesn’t currently process
images or extract content from them on mobile, the photo upload feature may not
offer a direct engineering benefit yet.

Still, I agree that having the ability to attach files or screenshots could make
conversations more practical — especially when:
• reporting UI issues in a repository
• sharing screenshots of errors
• giving visual context while discussing code

So even if Copilot can’t “understand” images for now, attaching them could help the
conversation flow better between collaborators.

I’d personally love to see this kind of enhancement in future updates too — it feels
like a natural step for the GitHub Mobile experience 🚀
