Hello, i have a question why while i'm access github home then getting "Error Looks Like Something Went Wrong"

Follow these steps to fix it, starting with the simplest ones first

1. Check Your Extensions Most Likely
   Sometimes those tools meant to protect your online space - ad-blockers, say, or something like Privacy Badger - end up stopping needed bits by mistake. A VPN tucked into your browser might do it too. Not often, but enough to notice when things go quiet on a page that should be moving.

2. Turn Off Systemwide Ad Blockers or VPNs
   Start by disabling any active software such as a VPN, proxy, or full-device ad blocker - tools like AdGuard might misroute connections. When that happens, links meant for everyone could seem restricted to your machine

3. Review the Hosts File
   One reason this "local address space" problem pops up? Someone - maybe you, maybe software - changed the "Hosts" file on your machine. Blocking websites can backfire when GitHub’s resources get rerouted to 127.0.0.1, which means your own device answers instead of the internet.

4. Flush Your DNS
   A wrong web address could be stuck inside your machine. Sometimes old data lingers without warning. This hidden detail may block access to GitHub. The system uses what it remembers, even if flawed. Clearing that memory often helps things move again.

🔍 Root Cause

This issue is not a GitHub outage.
The browser is blocking GitHub static assets (images, scripts, CSS), which causes the UI to fail rendering.

From the browser console errors:

• Access to image ... has been blocked by CORS policy
• Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FAILED
• Requests blocked from githubusercontent.com

🧠 Common Causes

• Ad blockers / privacy extensions (uBlock, AdGuard, Brave Shields, etc.)
• VPN or proxy services
• Corporate / school network firewall
• Custom DNS filtering (Pi-hole, AdGuard DNS, NextDNS)
• Corrupted browser cache or cookies

✅ How to Fix

Try the following steps in order:

1. Disable ad blockers or privacy extensions
2. Turn off VPN / proxy
3. Hard refresh the page

Ctrl + Shift + R

4. Clear cookies and cache for github.com
5. Open GitHub in Incognito / Private mode
6. Test using a different browser
7. Change DNS to:

• Google: 8.8.8.8
• Cloudflare: 1.1.1.1

If GitHub works correctly in Incognito mode, the problem is definitely caused by a browser extension.
