An authorization hold temporarily reserves a specified amount of money in a customer's bank account to make sure funds are available for a purchase. So basically they went to reserve the money in your account (not charge you yet, but make sure you have the money), and that failed for some reason. If you have enough money in your account, then its likely an issue with the information, e.g maybe the card number is wrong or something like that. |

Howdy. I'm using GitHub Copilot chat in Vs Code. Everything was working fine yesterday. Woke up this morning and it decided to stop working. I went onto GitHub and saw this
"We are having a problem billing your account. Please update your payment method or call your payment provider for details on why the transaction failed.
You can contact support with any questions."
I don't owe them any money until the 9th of Feb. I also did notice there was an auth issue from the transaction.
"Invalid payment method - authorization hold failed."
I've done the whole, restart Vs Code, sign out of GitHub stuff. Uninstall - Reinstall Vs Code. Nothing works.
I don't exactly know what this issue is. Can it be they tested my card and it didn't work? or do I actually owe them money for something I don't know about?
(I have created a ticket; I'm just not very patient lol)
