Dear GitHub Community,
Following the outage yesterday (9th Feb 2026) all links to my public repo are returning a 404 error - it was all accessible before the outage.
I am writing to report a critical issue with my public repository. Despite being set to "Public" visibility, the repository returns a 404 error for users who are not logged into GitHub. This is preventing access.
Repository Details:
Repository URL: https://github.com/thepaulbuchanan/Groking-the-Universe
Current Visibility Setting: Public (as confirmed in Settings -> Danger Zone).
Default Branch: master
Description of the Problem: All direct links (e.g., to /blob/master/README.md) result in a 404 error for unauthenticated users. The main repository page is also inaccessible from a logged-out state. Logged-in users (myself) can access everything without issues.
Please help.
