I am totally new. My build in google ai studio won't sync to github after changing the repo name.

This is a really common issue when you rename a GitHub repo — Google AI Studio loses track of the old URL and can't sync anymore. Here's exactly how to fix it:

What happened:

When you renamed your repo, GitHub automatically redirects the old URL to the new one, but Google AI Studio still has the old repo name saved in its connection settings and doesn't follow that redirect automatically.
Fix — Step by step:

Step 1 — Disconnect the repo in Google AI Studio
Go to your project in Google AI Studio → find the GitHub sync/connection settings → disconnect or unlink the current repository.

Step 2 — Reconnect with the new repo name
After disconnecting, reconnect to GitHub and select your repository with the updated name. This forces AI Studio to use the new URL fresh.

Step 3 — If you're using it locally via Git as well:
Update your remote URL to match the new name:
git remote set-url origin https://github.com/YOUR_USERNAME/NEW_REPO_NAME.git
Then verify it worked:
git remote -v

Step 4 — Check GitHub redirects are working:
Visit your old repo URL in a browser — if GitHub is redirecting it correctly to the new name, the issue is purely on the AI Studio side and disconnecting/reconnecting will fix it completely.

Once you reconnect with the new name everything should sync normally again!
